Oh my Lord how could LDM agree to sign that off? The V8 behind it looks ok with the roof up so why did it go pear shaped for the 550?

Look fapping ace as they are intended. The roof is to get you home if you get caught in a shower.

O/T: Just had a fantastic schnell across the Bracknell-Windsor Expressway and back, induced/accompanied/sponsored by the musical stylings of Rage Against The Machine. The humble Focus is a very capable coverer of ground it seems, even with a mere hundred ponies aboard and way more fun than it in theory has any right to be. I dread to think what velocities may have been attained in anything quicker... It also reminded why The Wife banned it from in-car use. The return journey and ferrying home of drunken ladyfolk is scheduled for some time in the early hours. I think some Mr. M. Loaf will be required listening.

Perhaps I need to fire up some better speakers than my craptop, or perhaps I need more booze, but so far it's a bit [insert word here]..... Fantastic album. One of the best imho. Was a fantastic programme on either Radio 2 or 4 (can't remember which) at the beginning of this year that delved into the album in great detail. Truly fascinating.

PS: It helps considerably if the room is dark, you lie on the floor, suitably encushioned, listen via headphones and have a jazz cigarette or several to hand for the immersive experience. There are so many levels to the lyrics, music and sound effects all going on that a decent sound system is a must, laptop speakers will not do it. Mind you, Funki Porcini's Fast Asleep is *slightly* better in the same circs I find.

He said has had 3 other E28 M5s and this is the best one he's had and he's only selling as he wants to buy Avantgarde's Hartge modded one. Going to try and get there to have a look at it tomorrow.
