I hate the classics....

one careful lady owner
first to see will buy
only £10 to fix

Most of all... anyone who tries to hide the fact that the car is written off by hiding it in a mass of capital letters at the bottom of an ad. It should be right at the top, front and centre.

PRICE IS £2999 NOT £299 AS STATED IN TITLE

If I become PM, this will be a shooting offence, along with putting single digit mileages

For me, its not so much the description - but its the ones who can't spell in their adverts.

That I am not sure about, My Smart Roadster the MOT ran out in December, thinking of selling it but not sure if I should get it MOT'd now, or say it will come with 12 months MOT and get it done for the buyer, so it has the full year on it.

On a 205 GTi advert many years ago:

"IF THIS CAR WAS A FRUIT IT WOULD BE A PEACH"

I'm sure "Lemon" would have been more accurate...

'112 miles' - commonly found on Auto Trader.

No, it's done 112,000 miles!

But 4months+ without MOT will not help your sale... just put it through the MOT, and for the sake of £50 on the sale, offer to put it through again?

My pet hate also. "Here we have for sale..." You're a builder's mate selling a Mondeo, not some bird on the fecking shopping channel.

'Stunning'. Aaaaaagh! furious

'Drives superb'.

Dealers listing 'driver's airbag, Isofix seats' and other cut 'n' paste drivel when selling a 1986 Mk2 Golf.

I've always wanted a service history finished in cream.

Unfortunately it seems the window-licking Del Boy selling this car has managed to produce... [HarryEnfieldMode]offspring[/HarryEnfieldMode].

I always hate when people write 'no reserve' on a vehicle or whatever but start it at £9,000 or something.

So basically there is, it's £9k isn't it? You fking idiot.

No reserve means you're starting it at 99p. Not im not taking any less than £xxxx
