Spot the illegal number plate.
No, I'm 99% certain it's Manx. Which means that if anyone outside of the IoM wanted to buy the car, if it's the same situation as the Channel Islands, you have to pay VAT on importing, as well as registration duty, and then MOT etc. Not cheap.Only at this price for one day then it goes back to the old price.

so if I came up with the £4750 tomorrow you would turn me away? this really does my head in.

I understand that, but a reserve is what you want as a minimum. So is starting the bid at that amount, so it doesn't make any sense to start it at £xxxx and to say there's no reserve.
It makes perfect sense. A seller could set starting bid AND a reserve price if they wanted.confused_buyer said:

I don't mind this. "Standard spec" can vary by model year so it's good reference point for me to check which spec it was...
Yes, and you can put a 2007 car up for sale and still get people phone up and ask "has it got power steering?".Just because a few car geeks on a car forum know the spec of a 2006 330i or know where to find them don't assume 99% of the buying public have got a clue.
