God the sound of that flat 6 is spine tingling, love the C63 black as well, but left strangley cold by the GTS in that company.

So you haven't discovered the "loop the belt round the back of the seat & plug it in" trick yet Chris wink

Another excellent video. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the M3 GTS, probably because I know that I am not in the position to consider spending so much on a car, so I appreciate it just for the car it is, not looking at the price. I have to agree though, at the price they sold it at it doesn't seem like great value for money. But for what it is, an orange M3 with a cage, lightweight seats and an incredible Akrapovic exhaust, you just know that it would be a hoot to drive. The engine is a peach, the least powerful in the group but a V8 with an 8500rpm redline is never a bad thing.

The C63 Black is another car I love, I've always liked AMGs and this one is no different. The noise it makes is actually even better than the BMW, so much popping and crackling coming out and doing it on command with the gear shifts is excellent. In this company, before watching this video, it would have probably gotten my admittedly imaginary money.

Now I get the hype behind the RS 4.0, what a truly stunning car. I absolutely love a noisy car; quiet cruisers are great and they have their place, but I absolutely love to hear the mechanics of a car working. The cacophony of induction, transmission and exhaust noise in the 911 is brilliant, combined with the racy interior and looks, you would feel like a race driver every time you went to the shops (if indeed anyone used a GT3 RS, 4.0 or regular version) for as mundane a task. I can think of a particular S bend I sometimes take on the way to work, over a stone bridge with high stone walls and trees either side of the road. I know for a fact that if I had a 4.0, I'd feel like I was bombing down the Fuchsröhre every time I went down there, hell I feel like that I every time I drive it in my Civic Type R, I can only imagine how intense the feeling must be in the RS. Windows down, 2nd gear, foot flat on floor, could it get much better?

I was not previously a huge a 911 fan, I found them a bit dull to look at and I suppose they didn't have enough obvious USP, but the more I learn about cars, the more I love the 911, in particular the special versions like this one. The engineering is simply stunning.

Fantastic video - I especially love the running commentary on the track laps.

The GT3 RS 4.0 is just my dream car, the noise of it is absolutely phenomenal as previously said spine tingling and it must feel so special to drive.

Very envious!

The content had more potential than it delivered, unfortunately. Was amazingly filmed by Neil and in a great location with sublime action shots, but Monkey's vids are becoming the same over and over. Just has a feel of "Look at me and what I can do"... Getting predictable.

Trouble is, car vids where the car doesn't go sideways are immediately unspectacular, see twitzy (or whatever) video for example. The truth is, cars aren't that entertaining to watch until they're sliding about and it's very hard to capture any sensation of speed. It's also exacerbated by the fact that any joe bloggs can do a home video so the skillful demonstrations of sideways antics are what separates the pro's from the amateurs these days. It's much like the compulsory wheelie shot in a bike magazine.

Besides, ever seen a Countach go sideways? I've driven a few of these, I know how heavy the steering is and consequently how hard this must be. No points for anyone getting a C63 Black sideways but crikey, this takes some doing:

Totally pointless of course but I'm glad somebody had a go and managed to pull it off. Searching for 'countach drift' in youtube reveals just this one successful attempt.

Sorry for the late reply.

You can buy fancy ones like the CNCed Seeker one, http://www.rhdjapan.com/seeker-seat-belt-warning-c...

Or just get the male seatbelt clip from a breakers yard.

Hope that helps.

I've run harnesses only in a couple of cars over the years and never had an issue (with BiB or MOT) - can't really use an inertia reel belt on a deep bucket seat anyway
