Me: orange clockwork mountain bike Paid £500 for it second hand somtime in 1993 used 3 months wages + some paper round money I had saved up ( I was 17 and at college at the time )
I've still got it and it now does duty as my turbo trainer bike almost 20 years on.

30 years 5 months - and counting...
1967 Sunbeam Alpine. It was my mum's, and I learned to drive in it in 1981. Was given it in 1982 when my mum got a new car.
Still have it now although it's currently off the road for a complete refurb.

Passat, think I've had it 5 or 6 years. On its last legs now, but can't decide whether to sell it and get an all rounder or replace it with another sniffer and keep 2 cars.

Peugeot 106 Rallye mk 1, bought from new and owned for just over 2 years. I never keep a car for much more than 2 years, although I really can't think what to replace the 1M with, so I might just break that pattern.

Our 4.2 A8. Bought Feb 00 at 6 months old from a VAG dealer principal. Still going strong, although the bumpers are suffering from London life quite badly. Not really put a foot wrong. Not an obvious choice for a family bus, but a very good choice.
