Hugo a Gogo said: the other way via antwerp and eindhoven is more direct, especially to the north of düs where the Messe is, but I hate travelling around antwerp, and I hate driving in Holland, especially that bloody road from Eindhoven past Venlo to the border, used to do it every week, it's just two-lane truck hell Ah, the Antwerp ring road! I`d forgotten about this section of Europe, I can`t remember how long I`ve spent crawling towards the Kennedy tunnel on my way back from BFG, but it`s quite a while.

I'll be following this with interest - in June I'll be driving from Newark in Notts to their German twin town for a business expo, a journey of 650+ miles.
We'll be trying to do it on one tank of fuel as well...

Twitter might be easier, and it does the image thing for you. Sure beats my longest road trip by a fair few miles.

Hopefully it's some of Coldplays new work so you don't end up feeling tired 28mpg? Not bad from a 3.0 V6 I guess.

Driving to Drupa from GB? for a day? IMHO just Loony!!! It's a five hour drive from here so I got the plane from Zürich, cheaper (lower flight costs than petrol costs!) and no stress, as the fair is soooo foooooking huuuuuge you'll get blisters just walking around! 17 halls and over 5000 exhibitors and 350000 expected visitors..... And the food is extortionately expensive there; my lunch last Thursday cost over €62,-!!! FFS!!! However I really hope you make it safe and in one piece, there and back, without a heart attack!
