i feel for you... thank God she and the baby are okay.

my missus had a similar accident 2 weeks ago and she is 4 months pregnant. the idiot who drove into the back of her fortunately could not drive away as the speed of the impact was (according to the police) circa 50mph (my missus was stationary waiting for a car ahead to turn right and the other car just steamed straight into the back of her without even braking... the driver was looking at something on the side of the road and not where he was going).

after a VERY long night in hospital, both she and the baby are okay... just bad whiplash.

we were lucky (can i say lucky in the circumstances?!?) as the driver of the car was insured and admitted full liability and negligence to the police. the insurance has been sorted already and a new car will be on the driveway this weekend.

good luck to you and your missus... i hope it all sorts itself out....
