Won't be too long until a 308 creeps down into this territory.

I have wanted one of these for years.

My old chap had a '99 model and it was superb.

Love it and for less than a grand!!! Where's my cheque book!

It must be sickening to be sat in another country that doesn't have used cars as cheap as this.
Shedding doesn't come better.

Just been looking at these for the old man ironically. He wants to replace his black x300 with another Jag but isn't keen on the newer shapes so finding a good one is proving difficult!

Lovley, lovely cars. Love the styling, the ride, the engines and just the whole style of the things. If I could afford to manintain one properly I'd have one tomorrow.

>>>> Slight blow from exhaust manifold when cold (not loud and doesn't effect performance - theres a pair of really good spare manifolds included too)

Very worrying. I had an XJS with the same AJ16 engine and the exhaust manifolds were a notorious weak point. Once they are fixed the car is quiter, more powerful and will get through an MOT.

The fact the seller thinks a blowing exhaust manifold does not affect the power makes me think he does not know much about cars.

In response to all you who would prefer a V8, the AJ16 six cylinder car has no Nikasil or timing chain issues and is VERY strong.

If I could afford to fuel it though, I could afford a better one. Which is why I guess it is only 1k - little more than scrap.

How much would it cost to insure this vehicle?

As a non- UK resident sometimes I find the vehicle prices in UK just so unbelievably low.

If that's the ivory & piano black interior, this is the most classic shed ever!

Had one just like this. Paid 10x as much (9 years ago). People got a snot on, just a tech-monkey like me driving a £50 grand car, like he's the boss or something. That's what deprianomics/shedding is all about!

My favourite car so-far, the interior is almost as good as the exterior. Huge pleasure. Destroyed by criminals frown

That's the point of shed, working out the point where desire is greater than fear biggrin

Great cars the 6 cyl XJR's.

I used to have N354 NWT which was the same colour.

I've been looking at these recently.

If it wasn't 500 miles away that would be sitting on my driveway by now!!
