That is different. Loving the blue velour interior and the gear knob looks like it came straight from an Ann Summers party eek
Noticed this seems to be quite a popular addition to modified cars, well plenty had them at Japfest.

Young children and those of a 'sensitive' disposition look away now.

This needs to have the digital dash option for the full retro effect!

Don't make em like that anymore wink
If I had that, I'd rig something up that went bip bip bip, bip bip bip, bip bip bip - CHECKPOINT! every time I went under a motorway gantry.
I miss that style of driving games from 1992.
I need that dash in my life - can anyone make reproductions? I bet that bloke who's building a 4wd Civic (viz Readers Rides) could rig one up no bother...

What a wonderfully quirky car. If I didn't have enough tat already I'd consider something like this. Surely cannot depreciate?

If you want a cheap mid 80s Jap coupe, surely an FC RX7, Prelude 2.0i-4WS or Mk3 Supra would be a far better choice than that.

Would you believe there are large numbers of people who eschew the most obvious and sensible choice precisely because it is the most obvious and sensible choice?

That's why I've never had a Japanese car. But this one...

No, on second thoughts it's too much. I'm glad to see one still alive though. been ages since I've seen one on the road. I hope the buyer enjoys it.

Two grand buys a lot of car these days. Can't help thinking it's priced at double what it should be?
Indeed. Didn't we just have an XJR for our shed? I suppose Rarity does have a price...

ETA: That digi-dash isn't too far off what confronts er, faces you in a new Civic only it's blue and green. Here in the Colonies at any rate. smile

Fair point about the RX7 and Supra (though the lighter Celica would be more fun), but a Poolude? rofl

I'd prefer a Leone/Omega RX turbo coupe with the boost wound up though, the old EA82T is a pretty tough little motor.

I have driven a couple and they are great fun to drive. One with bilstiens and it was awesome, light weight and very chuckable loads of character - would be right up there with my favorite cars. The second had the original suspension, it was like driving a bowl of porridge - but if this one has the suspension from a liberty, I am guessing the stuff from an early wrx would fit too (I had WRX suspension in my old liberty which was awesome)

If I could, I would have one smile

I use to see one on the way to a few years back (10?!). A friend know the owner, so when it disappeared I learn what happen. It had been stolen and crashed in a police cash near Brands Hatch. I was told on of the thief's lose a leg, but this could be wrong. The own got an SVX that was quickly replaced by a BMW M5.

I always think the SVX looks a bit Citroen, if there had been an CX/XM coup it would have look something like this. I could just be me.

I don't think that the SVX looks like a Citroen, but then again I'm biased hehe

yes complete with 'songs' you could select to drive to, that always had names like air fresheners ('Ocean Drive', 'Midnight Heat' etc) and always sounded like incidental music from Miami Vice devised entirely on one Bontempi keyboard.

YES! Owning that car without that instrumentation cluster would be like owning a pair of balls but no cock.

Used to see one in Hove in the mid 90's. Looked other worldly.
Oddly enough there is one I see knocking about in Hove. I wonder if it's the same one/owner?
