A few years ago Maxpower magazine gave away1 of 3 cars.
One was a mint condition Lada Riva, with a handfull of miles on the clock.
The 2nd was a battered Rover 600 turbo i think, but the last one was an Escort RS Turbo, nicely modified by professionals and not some chav, but it was painted candy pink!
The winner of the comp had the chance to pick which one they wanted.
This was before vehicle wrapping took off, so a colour change would have been a big deal, and yet the winner chose the pink RS.
