I'm not familiar with any of those blues. The chesnut brown Ferrari looks surprisingly good. Moonstone blue on the Sierra Cosworth was a great colour.

Didn't steve McQueen own a ferrari in that colour?

Or maybe it was his Von Dutch Mini Cooper S that was brown...

My personal favourite is Ferraris grigorio scuro, however needs to be the on the 458

Also nero fuoco on my Alfa 147, the below isnt mine, or indeed a good picture but gives an impression of what it looks like. Its been described as mulberry by a mate

Can't see the pic of the 147. Is it a bit like the colour that you used to be able to get on the Golf/Corrado VR6. I forget the name!

Anything, absolutely anything, except the sea of almost monochromatic boredom that lurks on today's BMW dealers forecourt - sales silver, battleship greeeeeey metallic, and recession white. Especially white.
All depends on the car anyway - Lamborghini Viola works on a Lambo but would look 110% gay on a RRS for example. Yellow works in some shades - a good bright VW Nugget yellow or Ferrari Giallo Fly are winners, thin and pissey BMW E36 M3 custard yellow was just awful.
And as for Kiwi yellow - wtf?? - how to lose value on a car in one easy step hehe
Bestest ever? I think BMs Velvet Blue is a knockout on most cars - but mines that colour so I would say that. Or solid red - BMW Imola, Porsche Guards etc.

It depends on the car as some suit colours, example this colour on a old fesita would look ste. Where as a GT3 has to be green or orange .

Vauxhall c.1976 Extra Dark Wine. The Magnum Sports hatch was in this colour but I has a VX2300 in this which looked great. Only problem was the seats were almost white and a b@@@@r to keep clean!

I passed something looking remarkably similar to this on the M621 a few weeks ago but didn't have a clue to what it was (it was dark and I was going much faster than it)

You are all wrong. This colour rocks (in a sort of "go with what's cool at the moment" sort-of way). Although perhaps I'm just being nostalgic about the colour since my first car was poo-brown. *Sigh*... The "Unich"...
