Interior to (possibly) one of the best cars in the world in my opinion, the Ferrari 250 GTO:

God that has dated, in my mind I had it as a nice place to be. Scrap that.

The TT interior looks even worse if you have the tan leather seats with 'baseball glove' stitching.

Hardly helped by posting a pic of a dire colour combo. Still looks ok to me, bar the upper/lower split.

The 458 interior is horrible IMO.

An absolute mess of a design.

Yeah they look properly shabby now. Mum used to have one when they were new and I remembered it being really nice. I don't think the cloth seats help much though they look like something out of a Mk3 Golf!

Not well made particularly, but I love my Elise for the sheer bloody minded nothingness!

Not even any backlighting for the HVAC controls, or glove box, or anything. Love all the exposed aluminium as well - something that gradually got more and more covered up in later cars.

For quality, it has to be the new McLaren. Also love the F40 for the same reason as my Elise. Love Morgans for the tiny dimensions and the way everything is shrinked around you.

Wouldn't have the Zonda on the list - it's definitely a masterpiece of engineering and craftsmanship, but it's a tasteless, jumbled mess as well IMO.

Most Tvr's for that matter but the Cerbera is just that little bit better inside than the rest.

The Mercedes 124 interior is my favourite. The ultra plain design with an emphasis on horizontal lines is extremely relaxing and helps take the stress out of driving. The materials are first rate (better than the 123 which preceded it and the 210 which followed) and the ergonomics are good, too. Add to that well-sprung seats, plenty of glass and big, easy controls and you have a good place to sit if the journey ahead is long and difficult.

I always liked the interior on the smart roadster, the only problem with it was the quality of the plastics.
I think they used the same plastic as used in tic tac boxes as you only had to touch it and it would scratch.

I'll third that, these are beautiful inside. I feel a bit small sitting in them though because of the high window line!
