Lovely car, just out of interest how did you confirm the 202mph as that is doing very well!

Lovely car, but I think you need to supercharge it (to say about 880bhp) and put a Speed Twelve bodykit on it, that would be cool.

is it just me or does that rear end look like the obvious troll's face?

(not saying you're trolling, just noticed the resembelance)

My favorite car, other than Esprits (maybe).
If only they had been available in the States.

Stock wheels look much better, imo.

Used to own a Chimera, and often wondered about such an engine transplant in that.
Then kids came and that was it.
I must say, £ for £ this has to be one of THE best ways of getting yourself into a circa 200mph car. And without the fragility of the AJP engine.
Top man for having the balls to have it built and then use it as it was meant to be used.

Looks like a fun car .... and it would have been nice to hear the engine ..... but I gave up half way through the video.

Couldn't stand it any longer. And there's me thinking this was a car nut forum (not MTV) and that I might have a chance to hear the glorious sound of a big V8.

Excellent! Always interested to know of other people seriously modding their cars.

One question regarding the engine, did you use the GM brain or something else?

Hi Guys,

Been busy all afternoon doing the fluids and what not for Donnington this coming Friday, so first chance to reply..

Sorry about the music, it was my first and last attempt at movies, i'll stick to the day job! Eh? smile
To answer a few questions i have managed to scan, its running Emerald 3D ECU, It makes 532RWHP at TVR Power, 15% losses? to the fly = around 625BHP?
I used 2D data logging at Brunters last year, it was supplied by a Journo that i know from the bike industry, he does the testing for MCN, 0-60 etc..
I have a graph with more data than i know what to do with!

As for the guy who got passed on the brakes, i think it was the session i let my mum have a go, i've had a word with her and she says she wont do it again!
