Im not really sure why you are all sychophanting over him just because he owns a stunning car.
People who have no respect for other people on track days should not be allowed on them IMO.
TO see you lot laughing like a childs-gang at him giving out smart remarks admitting dangerous driving is somewhat disappointing for PH.

Appreciate you sharing your car stuff on here OP, we are all interested. thumbup
SHame about your arrogant attitude towards people with slower cars on trackdays

Have to agree with that.

The car is nice. Boasting about passing soemone on a trackday on the brakes isn't - I know it sounds nanny state, but the rules are there for a reason - you aren't a racing driver, you are a member of the public sharing a track with other members of the public - a bit of consideration rather than "haha, your car is slower than mine" is what is needed. A sorry for behaving like a eejit (we all get carried away sometimes) would have left you looking a lot better than the playground insult you resorted to did.

If the slower driver had turned in and punted you off, would you be laughing about trying to pass under braking? What if the slower driver went off avoiding the TVR on his inside (who should not have been there)?

I have to agree with you two. Just because the guy has a nice car a lot of posters seem to feel the need to kiss ar5e. Reminds me of the never ending 'is this your Maclaren?' threads....

It's a real shame he drives it like a complete prick at track days ignoring the rules set out at the briefing about not overtaking in the bends or in the braking zones.

And don't give me no grief about moaning and groaning, i paid my money to go on track at mallory on saturday, i went into the briefing and i agreed to abide by the rules set up by the guys in charge.

Then when your out on track the last thing you expect is some prick diving up the inside of you as your braking and about to turn into the hairpin.

If you want to go racing, get a licence and go racing, this was a track day for people of all abilities to try and enjoy a great day out.

If i'd have found you in the paddock after that second session you'd have got my mouthfull face to face. luckily when i found out you were in one of the pit garages later in the day i'd calmed down by then but i did notice you out on the track doing the same stuff.

Rant over.
OOOOhhh, OOOHHH Ooooo, calm down dear. I'm sure that 'if' you'd have found him [titter] you would've discovered he's a good guy. The thread is about the car, not you getting all upset 'cus someone went past you rolleyes
Are you retarded? re read what i put, i was not complaining because he 'went past' he was doing what we were told not to do, overtaking in the braking zone, if i'd have turned in early he'd have wiped out the side of my car.

The guys a prick and i stand by that.

In your "view". Trackdays have marshals & race control have camera's if someone's driving was that bad they would have had a word, I wonder if another "view" could be, should of seen this bloke driving on his mirrors trying to stop me getting past, he spent more time looking backwards than forwards so I blitzed him on the brakes & got move on before he I ended up in his accident?

Except that if this has happened ther person in question would have responded by saying "should of seen this bloke driving on his mirrors trying to stop me getting past, he spent more time looking backwards than forwards so I blitzed him on the brakes & got move on before he I ended up in his accident".
He didn't, he made an arrogant smart-arsed remark about his mum being a faster driver than E500.

Maybe that's what you would do but how do you know what the OP or anyone else would do?

Looking at the related videos posted by others of the same event, (just watched the Spire GT-R video) it seems like it was a bit of a free for all for those in the quicker cars.
What were the instructions given about passing?

I think everyone should concentrate on discussing the quality of the build and the effort that obviously went into making the car what it is.

Quite some achievement.

wasnt there a slow group you could have gone out in ? thats the problem mixing proper fast cars and normal cars . well built cars have proper brakes as well so dont need to brake 500 yards to early

Won't make much of a difference if a car turns in front of it/you removing the 'gap'.....if driving on the limit as we all do on track, regardless of how good your brakes are, they're not going to stop a stupid crash by taking someone on the brakes going into a corner.

Seen it way too many times for it to be defended.
