I think to qualify as 'manly'its got to be..

Very Uneconomical
Loud
Simply styled, e.g. not too fussy!

Cobra and the 90s Vantage as suggested already.

I'd agree it has to be a V8, can't be easy to drive (powerful, rwd, minimal aids), and it has to either be ugly, or plain brutal looking.
