Obviously none of you blokes have been anywhere near an Ozzie primary school at pick up time. You will find more 4WDs per square yard than anything else. Any mum driving a sedan is excommunicated immediately. 2 seaters are the only refuge left to us blokes, if only because you can't baby carrier or booster seat in them.

My daughter just got out of a Land Cruiser to get a 4WD duel cab 3.0L turbo diesel Ford Ranger/Mazda ute, better to tow the horse float or the sky boat. This puts her reasonably high in the pecking order.

Of course if ever they go somewhere where they might get a scratch, they will still borrow my old Holden.

We blokes lost the race, [& probably the human race], when we were silly enough to fit power steering to men's cars. While the little lady could not turn the wheel we were safe. However, from what I see of these SNAGS, [sensitive new age guys], wandering around today, without power steering, most of them would be restricted to riding the bus too.

Yep the only cars that are still mine, & my sons, are the Triumph TR7 & TR8. The steering is too heavy for the ladies to want to use.

Sorry EmmaJ, if you want to make the grade, you'll have to get rid of that milksop, power steering equipped poser model, & go get one of the original GTS 327, or 350 Bathurst models from 68 or 69.

No power steering in them, & they were real fun.

I suppose it depends what you consider manly. Fast, big capacity, ability, etc.
Is it just me that thinks that's trying just a little too hard to be manly?

ETA, clearly not...must read P2 of threads...

Newer Astons are definitely too feminine. Curves all over the places and not 'raw' enough. Perhaps some of the older Astons posted up here.

911s are not manly.

I dunno, Amber Heard looked pretty comfortable in hers in Drive Angry.

Lets face it though, Amber Heard has bigger balls than a lot of blokes (I probably would, high praise from a ghayer)

An FJ40 is 'camp'? Are you fking mental? hehe simple, basic, does exactly what it says on the tin, and without the need for penis extension looks, or power.

Job jobbed.

As for it trying to be too manly? Trying too hard? It's an offloaded. It will have nobbly tyres, and a toughened front bumper. Apart from that, it is 'as it says on the tin'.

Trying too hard! Have you seen some of the cars on this thread? hehe Talk about hiding in the closet!

4 pages of nothing but wrong so far, all of these cars just say you're over compensating for something else.

To be a proper bloke you need to drive something like this

Only a man comfortable with his sexuality and who he is could do this, and in turn more women will want you because of it.

Don't know about manly, but BONKERS certainly fits the bill! biggrin

I always contribute 'manly' cars to looks, usually US muscle cars.

Veyron?
Getting there, but too competent. By all accounts, very easy to drive and not likely to kill you unless you are very stupid.

Just to add my 2p worth, I still stand by the inclusion of the MG ZT 260, yes it's a saloon or an estate, but meh with a 4.6 V8 wedged under the hood and the need for a whole new drivetrain to make it RWD, I personally think it fits the bill nicely
