Lovely, but requires a set of bespoke wheels, those ones are just not bespoke at all.

Nice looking car, just hope he doesn't roll it into a ball as he did with his first BB

I have heard from a reliable source, who has an in at Ferrari, that Eric does not like V8's and requested a V12 which they have put in this car only for him but are keeping quiet about it.
Doesn't sound overly reliable.

Much better looking than the F458.
Absolutely yes

Oh yeah and I agree about the wheels too, something different is needed here.

The point is, he wanted it, he could afford it, so he bought it.

You could argue that there's no point to many cars that are made, but what a useless comment to make on a forum for car enthusiasts.

Aside from the fuel filler - pretty competant. Verging on being a Prrreeeeee-tty car.

I think it looks a bit awkward myself, but it's his money and it's good that he's done something different.

It's a shame they didn't squeeze a V12 into it.

Although it would justify the premium!

You can keep that Mr Clapton. Ferrari were clearly quick to snatch the cash from Slowhand.

As well as three 1970s Ferrari 512 BB V12s, Eric Clapton has also owned a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, a Ferrari Enzo and a Ferrari 599 Fiorano. I think the fella knows what he likes in a Ferrari.

Love it, well done Eric for having the balls and the cash to do this. The wheels are the only weakness for me, they are too weedy looking. Nice to see proper one off cars being built, do I detect a hint of jealousy from the critics?

Way better than the tacky looking original plus he's cured the bonnet issue that always looked like it was from another car roughly bent to fit. Ferrari should be very embarressed that the 458 was so easily improved.

It would be more accurate to say that he's owned at least one example of almost every Ferrari produced from 1960 onwards, including as you said, at least 3 BB's the first being the 365 BB that was pictured smashed up on the inner cover of one of his albums

I think it's great purely because it's generated 4 pages worth of comments which is probably exactly what he wanted. It's a car that gets people talking.

If i had the cash for a one off Ferrari, i think i'd like a Dino done in a similar modern/retro look to this.

Obviously, it wouldn't be based on a Posrche such as this p/shop
