20 y/o, with Volkswagen Passat tdi 130. Costs £850 odd. The Triumph used to cost the same at the age of 17 when I started driving! With an unlimited mileage policy!

Some of your insurance figures seem far too resonable!
i'm 24 with 7 years NCB and the cheapest i could get was around £900 for a 2010 118d Sport, if it was an M-Sport it bumped the cost by about £200!
Postcode was only rated as a 'C' on the checker on the other thread...

24, 3 years ncb, Swift Sport — £1200
Manchester pushes the price right up. Was £1700 before I'd done everything to bring it down e.g. Insuring whole family on the car, job title, access to other vehicles, Cohabiting with OH etc. etc.

Been with them a few years now and the house insurance is through them too some way or another, wife deals with that side of things. She got a cracking deal i thought. The postcode helps a great deal too,not so much on the comparison sites but if you call them and talk to someone it usually does the trick.
