I would echo the above sentiments...

it doesnt offer enough to justify itself ands has been somewhat eclipsed by the Aventador. For the price there are a hundreds of other cars id buy before this... sod it even plenty of lambos! il take a muira, Muira SV, Countach LP400, Countach QV... erm thatl do.

Think it looks silly although that in part im sure contributes to the charm...

its uber rare and its a lambo. there are now new watches that cost £1m and paintings at over £100m... surely this is easily justifiable.

I've said this before, but all I see is a Murci in a fancy frock.

Like the poster above, I'd have a Murci SV or an Aventador over the Reventon any day of the week.

Still a superb machine mind, but not worth the premium - in my opinion.

To all those who say they'd have the Aventador and save the cash , I wonder if you'll still be saying that in 20 years time when the Reventon prices compared to Aventador prices will be oceans apart compared to what they are now . I understand the performance figures but desirability will always dictate the price of a car . The less there are generally the more desirable and the more costly a car will be . Question is will the Reventon be one of those classics that become that desirable or consigned to the also rans . Giving what Lamborghini is and what the company and it's cars means to some people I think the Reventon would be wise investment . In other words I can't see it failing to make say 2 million quid in 7 or 8 years time . When ever has a car at this level of exclusivity not made a decent return for the owner . Now you might be able to take your million quid and turn it into 5 million in 7 or 8 years time , but you wouldn't have the pleasure of owning a Reventon , and with the 5 mill burning a hole in your pocket it might even be a tad difficult find a reventon for sale even though you have the cash . Personally I hope they flop , and prices drop to the level where I can afford , but it ain't happeing , because there's too many people like me who love the reventon with a lot more cash than I have .

A few here missing the point. It's not a game of "Top Trumps". A true Lamborghini Tifosi wouldn't mistake it for an Aventador. Exclusivity IS more important/valuable than big numbers on the stat sheet, knowing that it's the ONLY one in the country is not just nice, it's the only reason to own one. A magnificent thing.

Its going to be like an F40 in 20 years time. Rare as **** and expensive. The problem is, to most, is how much money can you make on the back of £895,000 in 20 years? Alot more than the appreciation of a car, if you are smart.
