Very nice vid!
Markku and Juha are heros, Andreucchi is just comedy!
I was working at Monza rallyshow 2 yrs back and was literally blown away by the ECV!!
The pitlane is used during the rally so the pitboxes are used back to front... we had set up the "engineering room" along the normally front roller shutters. Sitting poaring through data after our day had finished, Miki Biasion was sent out on a demo in the ECV.... we had no idea until he entered the pitlane and unleased the fury.... we could hear all the garage doors flapping until he reached us and sent all the tables and laptops flying.... didnt bother picking anything up, ran straight to the roof to watch the master at work in a mental beast.
Had forgotten until that video...

If you want to see the car in action is regularly used every year at an event called Rally Legend (the italian FoS) that takes place every year, the first weekend of october in San Marino.
I had a chance to be passenger and althougt fully "harnessed" all I remember is noise, noise* and bruises, it changes directionmaybe before you turn the wheel....utterly awesome!
- actually music, and of the finest type!
Fantastic to see those cars in action with some of the greatest rally drivers. Reminds me what got me interested in cars at an early age watching the Group B monsters competing in Ireland. Never got to see an S4 in anger, but great to see them being used properly.
Mr. Harris, you certainly have the best job in the world....

I would be reluctant to call those rebadged Chryslers Lancia at all, and as for building them theirselves...
Have you ever driven an Ypsilon? It's almost deliberately bad. Switchgear and gearbox from a Doblo van. They have not a single redeeming feature that I can think of.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
