Fantastic video and beautiful camera work.

I've seen an RS200 on the road and a Lancia 037 road car in a warehouse and a Stratos in Newbury (many years ago).

So, are there any of the road cars (needed for homologation) still being used on the road and where?
200 037, 492 stratos, 200 rs200.
RS200 is the one that turns up in the press/auctions/events the most though, never ever hear about the road 037

Soooo good!! That 037 - what can I say? Words fail me.....
Chris, even without driving, you are a hero!

Just keep those videos coming.

Yes, WRC is boring. Watched the Manx National on the telly tonight and that was better than the WRC.

Congratulations, that is possibly the best short car related video i have ever seen on the 'net! And fun to contrast Juha's smooth style with the slightly more frantic one of Paolo Andreucci !

It also seems that modern tyres and dampers have tamed the Stratos a bit, in fact, i really want one now ;-)

Absolutely the best motoring/car video i've seen this year.

I hope CH does the same for all other Gr B cars.

The Italian chap that hadn't done his helmet up, looked like he was having a heart attack trying to reach the wheel but drove like a nutter had me in stitches! Amazing stuff. Well done Chris, you lucky bd!

Amazing.
Did anybody else start sweating while watching this?

So hang on, Fiat can't be bothered to even build Lancia's anymore, while Pirelli seems to like them so much they even forget to show their own product during a launch? Could somebody please ask the Pirelli family to buy Lancia off Fiat? At least they seem interested.

I can't get utube at the moment as I am offshore in a Diving chamber, however when I get home I will be watching it and turning up the sound! Im looking forward to it already.

You need to do one on the S1 Quattro, it needs to be done to complete the Grp B video, pwetty pwetty please! Go on, you know you want to... Full 650bhp madness....

I remember seeing a documentary on Group B and the co driver in a Delta S4 said to the driver -
'its so fast I can't see the pace notes or keep up with it' and the driver replied (maybe Allen!) 'don't worry I can't see out the windscreen'

Even watching Group B now a days it still looks fast, I love it. I could talk about it for a good few hours! Such impressive cars.

I was in the forest stage at FOS when we heard the chirp and growl of the S1 Quattro. It came past us sideways, full throttle being driven by Walter Rohl, wow, me and my mates just stood there in awe of the noise, flames, savageness of it. He wasn't hanging about either.

Anyhow enough of my ramblings, keep up the good work.

Good job there wasn't too much thigh rubbing in the stratos, but then that'd be a bit difficult with those chicken legs eh?

It's not even that. It stops sweat going into the communal billy helmets.

Thats not a nomex balaclava. Its one of those disposable balaclavas used when people are sharing a helmet, certainly not fire/flame proof. Did laugh at the driver in full nomex gear and the passengers in shorts/tshirts

I bet at the end of the run with Marku that dig in the chops as if to say "there you go mate" was an nice feeling. Rarely does one get to meet life's heroes, especially almost in perfect context to your cherished memories. now to watch the rest of the vid biggrin Top boy.
