The thing that annoys me at the moment is that even ASDA who present their "national" pricing so proudly have for the last fortnight been varying their prices according to the local competition, so in Carlisle for example they just reduced their prices to 129.7/134.7 where in other places they have been at this level for over a week!
I presume there will be places as of today where ASDA are down to 126.7/131.7 so we are still paying more than what we should be.

Why would they not vary the price depending on your location? It will cost a different amount to get fuel to different areas of the country and it doesn't make sense to make everyone else share the cost of this.I presume there will be places as of today where ASDA are down to 126.7/131.7 so we are still paying more than what we should be.

Well yes, but his point was that they actually advertise national pricing, which they clearly aren't doing!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
