RE: Will.i.Am's modified DeLorean-thing impounded
Discussion
Grotty grey because they are made from stainless steel.... I doubt its a modified Delorean as such.. there cant be that many left, would you really do that to a Delorean??.. maybe he's using up the massive amount of spares that were left over or maybe the same tooling? Didn't they build spares for 20,000 cars and only build about 3 that were use in back to the future?
I like the Delorean.. this... ermmm no but I guess his hearts in the right place.
Hmmmm just had a closer look.... looks like he's messed up a classic... oh dear

LMAO, deloreans are not that bad.. apart from this one.
I have to admit, I like some of Will I am music, some which is a bit too techno, Im not into.
Although most of the pink shirt wearing cocks on this website are just plain assholes. All the stupid insults about the way he abbreviates his name, but the same cocks love and listen to other stupid artists and groups that have worst or stupid names. Not suprised as those complaining are the grey haired type assholes that aspire to be the upper class.
you seem slightly obsessed with cocks and assholes, does your music collection include Erasure and Will Young by any chance?I have to admit, I like some of Will I am music, some which is a bit too techno, Im not into.

I'd modify a Delorean with fire to be honest. Hateful car.

A DeLorean parts supplier in the US bought all the remaining stock a while ago, including a number of bodyshells & incomplete cars, probably one of them.Geeba said:

Eh? They built and sold a few thousand worldwide before the company went bust.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeLorean_DMC-12
I think the will.i.am car looks horrible, but then cheaper than designing something from scratch. Or these days not? It presumably still passes crash safety legislation required for sale in the US, which is costly on a new build?

I do think it looks alright to be honest, just a shame what's underneath is such turd.Cole Trickle said:
No it doesn't. it looks st and a bit like a cheap radio-controlled car you'd buy from a market stall for about a tenner.Cole Trickle said:
In all fairness yes it does. I'm now confused!DanDC5 said:

Similar floorpan/chassis to a Lotus Espirit, so not bad enough to be worthy of turd status IMO, just the engine used was a bit asthmatic, even back then. Easily modified to be better nowadays though, which presumably this one is.Strawman said:

It wasn't just the wheezy engine and the slushbox, it was the fact that the body was stainless steel and far too heavy. It achieved fame through those doors and the film trilogy but in reality the DeLorean DMC12 was not a good car.rohrl said:

Weighed 1,230 kg, quite light by today's standards, admittedly 200kgs more than the mk1 Lotus espirit. But Lotus did most of the development work on it so I don't think it was bad in it's day, just production quality let it down.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
