Well... if that's your reasoning, it probably explains why the world is in such a state... it's full of arrogant, ignorant C**T's like yourself !
So I'm an arrogant for spending MY money on what makes ME happy? How dare I. You're right, I should spend the money on keeping the environment safe for future generations instead, that would be a right laugh rolleyes

Here's a picture to keep you happy - lots of CO2 emitted that day!

Although on a more serious note, since you've obviously not taken into consideration that my car does approx. 2K miles per year. Your BMW will pollute more than my car just because you use it more. Therefore that makes you an arrogant too smile

And for what exactly ?
I don't understand what you mean. What point are you trying to make? smile
My point is quite simple... in today's eco and financial climate, are cars this excessive really a necessity ?
What do you drive?
As stated in my original post, a 1 Series BMW and Lotus Elise.
Why do you need two cars?
Work it out !

I've really no idea how an environmentally conscious eco-citizen could possibly justify 2 cars?

You tell me.

Oh... and by the way, I'm glad you brought up the issue about the Tesla, you probably know it's based around the Elise chassis which was and still is exceptionally innovative and good at what it does... that's why I own an Elise, not an Aston !
You seem like someone easily influenced rather than possessed of an enquiring mind.

You presumably view the Tesla as an innovative beacon of how things should be in the future.

Tell, what is your position on the subject of rare earth minerals such as neodymium, terbium, dysprosium and Lanthamum, so commonly used in hybrid and electric car manufacture?

Extracted from the ground in countries such as Africa and China , often with massive damage to Eco systems because of the mining required, and then hauled in polluting bulk carrying ships half way across the world to then be used in heavy industrial environments to end up in cars.

Do you have a view of the Eco cost of this or an opinion of the rights and wrongs of scraping natural resources from the ground of poor countries in order to make a Californian Prius driver feel good about himself?

I'd love to hear your take on these ( quite genuine) issues and they can possibly hold the high ground over a few blokes in Oxfordshire knocking out a few dozen Aston Vanquishes in a year.

Please enlighten me. smile

Ill be honest here, the world is in such a state because we have poverty, terrorist's, Aids, New labour, David cameron, a bankrupt economy and china is opening building more coal fired power stations than they are building macdonalds, Aston martins aren't really that relevent, if your so worried about it then sell your two cars buy a pushbike and sod off to Sandlewearingcluelesshippiedicks.co.uk, im sure your views on the current state of the world will be welcome there.loser

Thanks i feel even better knowing that. I'll get a very smug warm ness inside now when I drive it knowing it's pissing wkers like yourself off because of the pollution.

Why would you have 2 cars if you didn't use at least one of them? I would guess the BMW is the one to put miles on as obviously the Lotus would pollute more silly

Fantastic! Looks even better in the film than static shots. I saw a Vanquish at McGurks a while ago and thought it hadn't aged well, looking more like the DB7 than I realised at the time. I think the 310's styling is a definate step on from the DB9 / DBS cars and is absolutely the right thing for Aston - it keeps their identity, while moving them on to their next chapter. My current fantasy sub-£200K choice, by a long way thumbup

Well you did call someone a c..t. What do you expect?

And avoiding answering perfectly reasonable and polite questions to explain your reasoning isn't exactly cool either.

That may be so, but when you get some PH'er who say's...

Part of the appeal of Aston for me is the ability to turn money into noise! I really couldn't care less how much CO2 it puts out, or how much fuel it uses...

What should HE expect ?

If you read my original post carefully, I was mearly giving my opion about the end result ONLY, ie. the Aston itself. But NO, other PH'ers had to bring other issues into the mix !

I didn't say that though.

Perhaps you could answer my question (at the 3rd time of asking)?
