That may be so, but when you get some PH'er who say's...

Part of the appeal of Aston for me is the ability to turn money into noise! I really couldn't care less how much CO2 it puts out, or how much fuel it uses...
What should HE expect ?
If you read my original post carefully, I was mearly giving my opion about the end result ONLY, ie. the Aston itself. But NO, other PH'ers had to bring other issues into the mix !
Think it was you, that was bring other issues in ?Quote:

If you have a car like this, you will not care about CO2 or Fuel

Does anybody else find it a bit od that with 573bhp and all that carbon fiber it only does 183mph... when say an old M5 with 500bhp and a much heavier body could do 200+?? love the car jus think this is od??
AG
Top speed has little to do with weight. It's about power, drag and frontal area and gearing. The gearing of this car limits it to 305 km/h. That's it. AG

Let's be quite clear here. You called someone a C..T who dared to question your self righteous view , that somehow seems to be rooted in the belief that as an Elise driver you have the moral and future -thinking high ground over an Aston. I think it is about "going with the times" to use your own language. You even cited the comical Eco-nightmare abortion of a car , the Tesla, in support of your view.
I countered by pointing out that calling someone a C..T is bad form and then offering some issues to consider that may challenge your ill-conceived, ignorant position. In short, it was an attempt to elevate the debate from calling people a C..T to instead giving you the chance to explain your views, maybe even to win a few people over.
But instead you ignore the questions and get touchy.
You may have called the other chap a C..T, but here's the thing, there's clearly a much bigger one staring right back at you in the mirror.
Good day.

I think this looks lovely.
And it DOES move things on ( a little ) from the old DB9/DBS. At least, it moves things along enough to keep it all interesting.
And the interior has a nice, swooping centre consol which is a definite improvement.
Yeah, I like it a lot..

Not sure why people are saying it's slow either its got north of 320bhp/tonne and that is not indicative of a slow car.
