I put sugar in my fuel tank......
It makes my kid run round like a loon, so it should work in my car, right?

Another trade secret here: bolt a desk fan: onto your bonnet, facing forwards. When you want extra power then lean out of the window and switch it on to max speed. If you enjoy drifting then make sure it's one of those oscillating ones. If you have a saloon then you can try a similar trick on the bootlid with some fire extinguishers!

I've been thinking about this, and there is clearly some economics magic going on, whereby putting fuel in the washer bottle makes it free. I don't pretend to understand that any more than I understand how anyone ever thought the euro was a good idea, but that's worked out pretty well, so I just took this idea on board too.
So ... I've attached a pipe to my washer jets and run it back to the fuel tank. It seems to work so far so I'm going to route the piping inside the car later so it's a bit neater. But basically it's a result - no more petrol cost for me! Cheers OP.

Can't believe we've got this far without pictures
OP I want Haynes style pictures of the set up followed by a Fast and the Furious style Youtube video of the world going all blurry.

amazing op, this just made me think of something too. You know those clip on air fresheners for the air conditioning? put it on the end of your exhaust. Global warming = solved

Byard said: Hi Ben,
I'm sorry to here this.
If you put to much in the engine will 'runaway' which means the engine will keep running, even without the key in the ignition, the engine will keep revving as high as it can go until it catastrophically fails. The best way to stop this is to put it in 5th/6th, stand on the foot brake and drop the clutch to stall the engine.
Hope this helps. Hi Byard, thanks for your kind words. Sadly my Range Rover, like all modern Range Rovers, is an automatic. I must say I feel you're pretty responsible for this. The repairs on my car are going to cost around £4,000 not to mention the cost of rebuilding the school bus stop I ploughed into. Can you PM me your details please? My solicitor thinks I'll end up doing time if you don't own up infront of the court and admit this was all your fault.

I'm thinking i can just drill a hole in the top of my FMIC and go from there Sounds like a brilliant idea, let us know how you get on. The results were astonishing... Not only did I get the feel of my turbo kicking in I also got the extra power of the washer bottle (It's like an on demand VTEC Yo! too). I reckon it was making around 600 bhp until I flooded the IC... I need the OP to come refine my setup...

I emptied a can of Easy-Start into my washer bottle instead of just fuel when doing OPs idea. It was PHENOMENAL - the power increase was just amazing.

You should try it on the Citroen Ben, it might work better, without all the modern technology getting in the way of progress? I also have a picture of said Citroen to send to you, drop me a PM and I'll send it asap
