Small barge. If it all stacks up (looks like it from the photo's) this looks a cracker. Strong money of course - but looks as new. Yes, yes, I know you can get one for 40p and a bag of wotsists...

Is that what it's worth? I'd pay that for a minter.

What's the verdict?

Gearbox aside, that's my perfect non-M E46. Always have preferred the pre-facelift Sport kit, whether on the then-new Sport model or when specified as M Aero Kit II on an SE spec E46 saloon.

Imola, 3.0 petrol, 4 doors, original MVs, low miles and looks mint. The gearbox could be tolerated well enough and is far from a poor match with the largest M54.

Good find and well worthy of the thread. biggrin

I can't work out why you'd buy it, personally - buy it to use, and you lose a load of money, and yet it's not so low that you'd want to keep it as an investment (Not that it would be)

You know I'm looking for a more frugal smoker, what MPG do these '30's do then?

Probably about right, but the market will be tiny.

This is very not cheap, but just lovely.

Barely better than my 545i really - they're capable of high 20s but 23mpg is more realistic round London.

Manual versions are better.

The auto really doesn't help it there.

Work on 18-20 in town, 30-32 cruising and an average in the middle at 24-25ish. Nurse it and you can average 28, but that's not why you'd buy a 3.0 is it really...

"More frugal" than what?

In manual form, low to mid 30s are easily do-able. No idea about a slusher. Mid to high 20s perhaps?

Thanks everyone. LS can see mid-20's on a run dropping to late teens as I hoof about town. Won't benefit that much then...

18s on a 9000 just look wrong. They are from the era when 16" was enough.

That 330i looks phenomenal and great value if you ask me. Much prefer the original to the facelift. Great pity it's a slusher, though. I'd want spanish in a small saloon.

A dude emailed Friday asking if the cooling system had been done, I replied with it has a FSH but I don't have invoices prior to my ownership so can neither confirm or deny but its never had a problem, haven't heard back. Clearly 2k worth of suspension work isn't enough hehe
