With its legendary thrust, beautiful styling, endless gadgets (all in full working order) and general all-round wonderfulness, I wouldn't have time or inclination to drink in your car.

In fact, I'd just be desperately concentrating on not having a special moment.
I'm not sure I know what you mean. I don't recall Baryonyx ever mentioning 32972173 times what it is that he even drives?

It was when I had it hehe Great, apart from the thirst, which ruined it for me. You think "yeah, it'll like a drink, who cares" but in the end I could just see £££ disappearing when I used any of the performance, which dulled the experience a tad.

I'm bloody sure you can see the fuel guage dropping on full chat.

I'd ruled them out in insurance grounds but the quote i just got is very very appealing.....only 100 odd quid more than a standard 3.2 or 4.0 car....
Nowt more than a cooking one. Unless somebody had taken the 'charger off and put it back wrong, like I found on mine after I bought it. (This would of course be evident from a test drive if you're in anyway a better buyer than moi)

So... JFDI thumbup

Do it. The best all-round barge I've had the pleasure of experiencing and would have one in a heartbeat. If you can get past the prodigious thirst then you'll love it.

How prodigous..?

My Chim did 15 round town (if careful!) and managed low twenties on a run. What are we looking at with the Cov Cat?

Oh and does it "feel" quick? i'm guessing 320 should tranlate in to a back pushed into the seat situation...

1-2 accelerating, 9-12 around town, 21 absolute best @ 60-70. Awful.

And no, it didn't feel that quick. Figures about same as the Fiat Coupe 20vt I had at the same time, and also same as the Mk4 LS. Both feel quicker. Remember, the blower's working all the time off idle, so you won't feel it kick in.

370 V8 is a better bet as mentioned above, but then they are more troublesome.

Can be, I agree.

Even they don't feel all that quick, but they are - it's because the delivery is so linear you don't get a sudden extra shove.

My old one was on AT last time I looked - had all the right stuff done.

Ah I was looking at one of these a while ago, when someone said they were 'bad' I didn't realise just how thirsty they are!

Next week I am taking my daughter from Kings Lynn to Wigan and back in one day (around 350 miles) - if I can find the right device to enable us not to have to stop more than once per journey. All suggestions, for both male and female requirements, welcome.
There's this thing, its dirty , disgusting, everyone will look at you that bit differently in the future, however it can do over 300 miles on a tank.

Its called a diesel and its what you need. However only 4L V8 Audi and 5L V10 phaeton are acceptable.

Oh god, that's even worse than my old XJ6 (unsurprisingly I guess).

With that and my boots of lead, I used to average 13mpg. Scum fuel for my next one I think.

I was always too scared to press the 'Average' button on the OBC. But 12.9 used to appear when I pressed it by mistake. Mostly round town or out for a [short] blast, admittedly.

250 mile range realistically, for about £120 of unleaded. Exactly the same as a 4.6 RR, but at least that could go off road and carry / tow lots of stuff.

Oh, so my recently acquired 3 litre A8 diesel isn't good enough for you? My new service guys are going to remap it for me to give upwards of 45 mpg. And it certainly shifts, and is a lovely place to be.

Does the stereo pump in the melodious sounds of a rip snorting V8 with a bit of supercharger whine?

I will have to record the sound of my TVR at the next track day, I guess. My old Lexus 400 V8 didn't exactly have a V8 rumble, and I suspect that the Audi V8 diesel won't either. The V6 is so quiet I want to get up and address the congregation, and Classic FM sounds fantastic on the Bose ( the first owner was to mean to pay five grand for the Bang and Olafsson option)

Does anyone want to buy a 3vz-fe mk2 mr2? I NEED this BMW.

Some sort of non standard screen in front of the gear lever? Not seen one like that before.
My knowledge of BMW's is not good enough to be able to point out things like that... Lol.
That car was mentioned a while ago - so has been available for some time. Too expensive for what it is IMO, though i'm sure it's lovely.
Thanks for the info smile
