No doubt they make great, cheap load luggers. The Aero HOT models are also quite quick. Though the slightly more obvious T5 seems to trump them as a used buy. I gave serious consideration to buying a manual 9-5 Aero HOT earlier this year when I was in need of a comfy cruiser for getting to work and back but ultimately, a lack of decent manual saloons nearby put me off.http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/use...
Also, how long does an Ebay ad last? When I sold my Impreza last month I seem to recall you got 28 days or something like that, at the very most. The A8 4.2 below has been listed for what seems like months and months without selling, if you were to go by the listing. Yet I went to the Lion Garage in Bedlington when I was passing through and asked the saleswoman there if they still had the A8 and she said it had sold the week before and the Ebay advert obviously hadn't been pulled yet. How very strange. This A8 always comes up as the closest to me for £5000 or less when I'm searching. Someone is renewing the advert despite the garage telling me the car was sold!

You will like the answer to this Fox, I sold because I also had a E39 champagne edition and didn't really need it and judging from his previous posts Allblackedup is selling it because he wants a E39!

If you're on the ebay dealer system (where you pay a flat rate for x mamy cars) it is uploaded via an entirely different interface and it just keeps re-newing automatically every 28 days until you delete it from your stocklist.Fox- said:

Did you sort the problem with your 530 running cold? Mine did exactly the same last year for two days then hasn't done it since in maybe 12k miles. Soon after that issue I had the ignition switch replaced due to the other electrical common issues it was giving me... No, it's still doing it. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. It was fine all day yesterday, fine a minute ago, popped into a shop, came out, restarted car and it was doing it again. Shut engine off on drive and turned back on again and bang, back to normal (Using actual temps rather than just the guage). Really bizarre.

It's had it. Time to get shot foxy BeirutTaxi said:
I know these aren't as big as a current S Class but somehow they manage to look like the most ENORMOUS car on the road.
It's frightening and utterly wonderful to see the Tirpitz bearing down on you in the rear view mirror.
you know what you really want. you want a barge in approx 12 months....one that's in E38 flavour, has been well looked after and gets reasonable economy for a mates rate It's frightening and utterly wonderful to see the Tirpitz bearing down on you in the rear view mirror.

Love that rear legroom! Looks like it's been a bit chavved up however which is a shame. Could be a tidy motor if the SH and mileage checkout though with some sensible wheels and lights refitted.

I have an MOT retest tommorow at 8am so mine decides to blow a brake light bulb today on the way home. It did something similar last year. It's like a dog that knows it's going to the vets
Mine went in today - it needed a new drivers' door lock unit, £200 plus fitting. Someone was asking about Volvo spares prices, there's the answer. Plus I got an advisory for light corrosion on the rear shock casings. Said rear shocks are Nivomat so ~£1000 to replace, I think I'll live with the advisory.V8Wagon said:

I think that's more than fair value at the price. Plus you'd get a chunk of your money back by selling the wheels and tyres.750i V12 LWB - One Owner 68K

The roundels need to go back to being BMW ones (as even the ones on a genuine B12 are) and the wheels were an original option when new. Odds are it'll have ALPINA suspension too if they were specified new - around £5k all in if memory serves.
Shame it's not 14cm shorter though. That said, it'd be considerably less conspicuous value were it up for sale by the usual suspects...

Volvo specialist/dealer by any chance? I'm sure it's legitimate, but that's not an advisory I've seen very often. Might be wanting to get some money out of you! Sand them down and repaint.
