Non runner needs love. Could be nice with work. Or not
What makes it a non-runner then? The seller is curiously quiet on that front. Cosmetic damage and a weird-looking passenger seat aside that's a great big lump of machinery for about half a bag.Non runner needs love. Could be nice with work. Or not
I might be wrong though (but I still wond be bidding!)
Was slightly tempted before I realised but this implies major bork. Or a non-working immobiliser as I had on my E39.

It's not a minter, but then it isn't priced as one. I like very much.
I'd still prefer the pale green early w201 2.6 that he has at £3250 though.

I agree with the comments above, if a trader cant get that 728 to work its probably worth leaving it alone, despite the nice spec.

That is the Ultimate 7 ebay account, or Lullingstone Cars as they are now known. The had the black 750il I posted the other day with 180k as previously owned by the chap I sold my 750il to.

That Rangie is on the Lullingstone website at £4000. £2500 and I could have 10 metres of the parking on my street taken up with just two chariots...I agree with the comments above, if a trader cant get that 728 to work its probably worth leaving it alone, despite the nice spec.

That P38 is gorgeous, need a righteous bork chest to keep that thing going though! What better way is there to genuinely look like a Duke while pottering around the countryside in that? There's something about contrast-piped leather and those headlight protectors that just get me.
Also, how many multiquotes is too many to keep without trimming? There must be some kind of PH etiquette I haven't encountered for this.

The seller currently has an auction running on that car as well as the classified advert. Currently at £3k with 3 days left.
It'll make £3500. In terms of an early R39 it's pricey but if you just want a great car for the next ten years of your retirement £3500 is piss cheapCampDavid said:

Great way of putting it.
Though I too find myself attracted to it. It was the search for a P38 that put me onto barging as a whole. I'd love one but I figure that you'd need another car alongside it and space for storing it (Mrs. GBB might draw the line at that). I reckon E39, P38 and MX5 would be a nice stable.
That 523 looks over priced to me but for the right buyer then it might be good value as long as it's rot free.
The 535 had it's Inspection 1 Service and MOT yesterday. Twasn't cheap but that's what I expected, will report back later. The good news was that the ABS was just a sensor, £15 for the part though I had to get them to fit it as the mounting was seized solid.
I'm trying to work out if it's been cheap motoring or not (as my son put it, it's not had big bills, just big in relation to what it cost and what it's worth). A few of the costs (early oil change, transmission fluid change) weren't necessary but done for piece of mind.

Personally I try and keep the fewest number of quotes that allows the post to still be in context, no hard and fast rules, it's down to your judgementhttp://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C339375
Or for the brave among us
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C339286
The pair could probably be had under £2k which seems bonkers value for money given the amount of waft on offer.

"im 71 years old now and my heath is not to good so its time to let the old girl go"I figure this will keep values low. The older folk appreciate large cars and MB etc. build quality. Such owners are getting old and there are fewer bargista's coming through the ranks (I suspect they are all here )
