I've sat in Gary's and had a nose around it and the amount of work he has put in to it is truly unbelievable! Simply amazing cars! Mine in all it's blackness................ Stef Hi Stef Cast your mind back three years or so...was it you over Tweseldown chasing a dark blue Astra (swmbo company car) that 'let' you past on Sandy lane in Hants? We just wanted to hear the noise! Mind you, we dropped you in the last tight twistie Cheers, C. No, not me, I've only had mine for 6 months. Stef

The standard 0-100 is about 12 seconds. Are you sure that it does 0-100 in 8 seconds? I would be gobsmacked if that were the case.

Agricultural, Crude and brutish.
I love it.
Drove a standard VXR8 round Oulton and I loved it. This must be a riot.

Love these things. Probably going to end up getting the US version of this, the Pontiac G8 GT or GXP, and throwing a blower at it for a laugh. They are great cars although annoyingly they lack some fairly basic mod cons such as memory seats/mirrors and factory sat nav etc. (neither are even options??) which I find rather odd. Oh and what's the deal with the glove and the 1000 yard stare? I know it's an "in" joke as I've seen it before, but I want to be in on it.

Good write-up Gary (another biased owner here). Loved reading the comments. They remind me why our money was invested in Aussie muscle three years ago, rather than something Germanic.

Ummmm............ Go to YouTube & search VXR8 Bathurst, then you'll see what the fuss is about. And they share the same chassis and running gear with the new Camaro!

I for one am horrified by what I just read.
"Why I bought it: With the imminent arrival of our first child, I was on the look-out for a four-door saloon."
So Mr Handa is about to have his first child. And what does he buy, a rebadged Vauxhall built in Australia. A nation that is known so much for the high quality of it's cars that they get exported all over the world. Not.
Not only does he buy something built by a few alcoholics married to someone called Sheila he buys a model with over 500HP with RWD, how dangerous is that going to be on a greasy road in the Autumn with some leaves just dropped from England's finest trees? And I bet that thing hasn't been NCAP tested either.
And then there is Global Warming, while Mr Handa is writing how smug he feels with the Prius drivers truth be told he is murdering Polar Bears who are drowning today because of the selfish people like Mr Handa. You should be ashamed of yourself Mr Handa, you have baby Polar Bear blood on your hands, try and hide it if you like with those gloves but it will never wash off from your conscience.
OK, I get the whole cool Dad thing, I've done my fast driving and track days in the past but when I first child I chopped my Westfield SEi for a Toyota Auris Hybrid and I havn't looked back and it has 5 NCAPS unlike that Waltzing Matilda bag of nuts you have.
10 years from now unless you mend your ways Mr Handa you'll be in a refugee camp on Snowdon Mountain watching the waters caused by the melting ice caps heading for your feet. Your child will look at you with tears in his eyes asking “Daddy, Daddy why is the world covered in water?” and it will be all your fault.
Damn you Gary Handa, damn you to hell.

Nice seeing one without the rear spoiler, even more stealth. I'd suggest you stick to Walki's or Monkfish though as LS V8 Power are very poor in comparison regarding quality and workmanship.
