I bring you the Datsun Go. Recently launched in India and firmly aimed at the budget end of the market (think a cost-reduced Dacia with all the safety features removed)
Full road test here, not coming to a dealer near you any time soon (assuming you live in Western Europe)

Is it just me that thinks we need more basic stuff like this on our roads, modern, low cost motoring without a ton of crap weighing them down. Probably quite eco friendly as well with no resources wasted on useless gadgets.Full road test here, not coming to a dealer near you any time soon (assuming you live in Western Europe)

No pic, but - Suzuki Swift 4x4. Looks absolutely identical to a normal one, but you can see a little diff hanging under the rear bumper. Me and my mate spent ages trying to work out if it was some lairy bike-engined rear-drive sleeper... but apparently not. Still cool though, in the vein of the old Justy/Panda 4x4.

It's a nice idea, but in practice, it won't work. We have the 'crap' for a reason.

Autocar liked it:
"If you can drive one of these spacious, comfortable, quietly handsome cruiser convertibles and still judge it inferior to similarly priced drop-tops such as the BMW 1-series, ask yourself why. Chances are you’ve fallen prone to a touch of badge snobbery."

Evo IX, JDM only. Only a handfull here in the UK, all grey imports. Have looked at getting one to replace my Galant VR4 estate but can't be bothered with the hassle of importing one myself. Although if I was to come across an advert for one, I'd struggle not to go for a look! Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
