My thoughts exactly. Always too much want for a Mk1 Coupe. LuS1fer said:

If only they'd brought the Mk1 coupe here with a three-rotor wankel, or the tiny V6 they made back then...
They already had the MX3 and MX6 Coupe sandwiching the MX5 and, later, the 323F. My sister had the 2.0 V6 in a 323F and found it pretty gutless.RoverP6B said:
Hmm, it came in various capacities, from 1.8 to 2.5, up to 200bhp, and a V6 has to be nicer than a 4-pot... even the very lowliest US-market 1.8 made 130bhp... alternatively, a naturally-aspirated 20B...
It's more to do with the weight of the engine and ancillaries. Fours can be neatly packaged but a V6 requires two exhaust manifolds, two cams, extra valves and then you have to find a place for the alternator and so forth, making an ideal weight balance harder to achieve.gowmonster said:

Err... it's a bog standard 900. Nothing to do with the Metro.
Look back a couple of pages and you'll see that the Dacia 1310 was likened to the front of a Metro grafted to the rear of a Saab 900.morgrp said:
