Current LWB S-class range. SWB only available with 3-litre diesel.

Even the bottom end variants come with a choice of leather, leather or another dozen or so types of leather. 19 or 20 inch wheels, according to the configurator - but the standard equipment list - http://bit.ly/1KVTI9A - says 17" standard. Lots of toys as standard too. Clearly no such thing as a poverty spec barge any more...

I was impressed that, with the S65, you can only add about twelve and a third percent to the base list price, so much already comes as standard.

Well that's very odd. I saw one of these about an hour ago waiting to pick my son up from school, never really heard of it, certainly never seen one & thought of this thread.
Someone at work has one of these. I haven't managed to track them down yet to ask them about it.

The S350h is the 4 cylinder diesel hybrid, that's only available in the AMG Line which comes with 19" wheels as standard. The base model is the SE comes with 18" wheels as standard, that's only available with the 6 cylinder diesel or 6 cylinder petrol hybrid.

I don't know what that standard list is, but it's wrong as a) I sell MB and b) I doubt 17's would fit over the brakes on the full fat AMG's, there flipping massive biggrin

The list is that linked off M-B UK's configurator for the base model diesel. I'm sure 17s won't fit on the AMGs!

Base model is SE in the UK though and that has 18's as standard confused

The Anadol A8 - Made in Turkey, If there is a sadder looking car than this then I haven't seen it.

That could pass for a Bristol it is so odd looking.

Is it actually based on something we would know?
I don't think Bristol ever made anything so hideous.

I think it looks like someone built a Saab 900 based purely on a verbal description.

I was reading that that Anadol was inspired by the safety car designs of the 70s that nobody ever made...
This Anadol is more Bristolian in design (though all fibreglass):

Nissan Cima, same colour as this one so it might even be the same one. It's not even on 'how many left', unless it's included under 'Nissan Infiniti', which is what it was sold as in some markets.

That rear almost looks Bristolesque.
From the c pillar back it looks like the late '90's Bentley continental coupe

I'm not a fan of old Bristol's but the Anadol A8 is the most tragic looking car i've seen for a long time (perhaps ever).

Disagree about the Anadol Böcek though; that's cool in a kinda utilitarian Lego car way.

Reminds me of the Minissima, a Bill Towns penned design that he mooted a s a replacement for the Mini, unusual for having a single rear entry door. It was latyer adapted as a disability car with wheelchair access.

The Minissima was then sat on by an elephant and became the Aston Martin Bulldog.

The Rover-BRM gas turbine was the only decent styling job Towns ever did IMO.

Other half used to have one of these, in the Azure Blue or whatever fancy name they call it. To it's credit, nothing went wrong and the engine we had (1.6), pulled it very well! Good spec, but not the nicest place to sit in, a lot of cheap materials.
Only cost about £7k at 2 years old though!

Not a bad looking car, based on the Twingo.
