+1. Had it been the replacement Saab 9-3 convertible, they'd be flying out of the showroom.

Was along side one of these in traffic this morning. Its the size of an Insignia, which at first glance I thought it was, even once it had pulled ahead of me I was surprised it wasn't an Insignia.

But it doesn't, and also you just know it's a fat lump of crap.

Have you driven one? I think it looks good and it's based on a generation of Astra which always seems to be quite a good car to me.

It's a mid hatch with a folding metal roof and a wheezy engine. They're all like that.

Folding cloth roof.

But yeah, not an exciting car I agree with you there. Perfectly good for its intended purpose although I agree I wouldn't buy one.

It's as good as any car of that nature can be, given the lack of rigidity.

Behold! The Badsey Bullet:

3 wheels and doors which appear to make it harder to get in than necessary.

And from the same company; the Eagle!

SD1 headlights? Certainly look like it.

Wouldn't it be nice if these two cars could just explode for no reason while quietly sitting in their storage units? The world would be better then.

The Eagle looks based on an X1/9. The Bullet certainly looks like it would give you a "connection with driving" that so many bemoan a lack of, these days! I also kinda like its looks. paperbag

Asso (snigger), Piche = Serbian for 'see you next Tuesday'.

Needs posting in the juvenile things thread.

An X1/9 and AMC Eagle love child I reckon.

Apparently based on BMC mechanics though.

First thought I had when I saw that was that if it was squashed a bit it would resemble this;
