Loving that JDm convertible shoebox and the Y10 (white hen).
The Y10 was seriously sharp looking in its day and aerodynamic, got recýcled as a Fiat a few years later it was so futuristic though Fiat claim otherwise. Conspiracy!
Which Fiat did it get recycled into? The Y10 was seriously sharp looking in its day and aerodynamic, got recýcled as a Fiat a few years later it was so futuristic though Fiat claim otherwise. Conspiracy!
The Autobianchi Y10 was in production from '82-'95. The Cinq looked similar but bears no connection, and the Panda was already in production in '82.

This one isn't really, a car, its a spec I didn't know existed. The Nissan Micra/March, Cube and Mitsuoka Viewt, were or are available with e-4WD. The rear axle has an electric motor, powered from a generator on the engine, so no batteries, and no mechanical link from front to rear. The electric motor powers the rear wheels when the front wheels slip. It's been on these Nissan's for years, although it might be just the Japanese and American market. http://www.autoblog.com/2008/02/02/how-does-nissan...
To add a picture of something that might fit the thread as people not knowing it existed. This is a Mitsuoka Viewt

I pass one of these Mitsuoka Viewts most days on the way to work. And every day I can't stop staring at it as it really is ugly. More so than any photos show!To add a picture of something that might fit the thread as people not knowing it existed. This is a Mitsuoka Viewt

Ford so need to sell this in the UK. No one seems to sell small pick-ups anymore.
The only small pickups I can think of was the original Mini, VW Caddy and later the Caddy / Skoda and the Jumbuck - TBH I can't remember ever seeing any of them on the road so I'd guess they don't sell very well.Small vans work well but small pickups don't then you get into the Ranger, Rodeo, Navara size which do sell well - although most seem to be non commercial crew cabs.

I've actually seen a couple of these in the last few years, both times having forgotten they existed. Must have sold in tiny numbers; I think they were really expensive. I give you the Lexus IS250C:
They've managed to make it look awful with the roof both up AND down.I sometimes feel that Lexus doesn't even want people to want its cars.
