Possibly - as car price databases do not list it.Insurance databases do by reg year BUT crucially they bracket from 2004- which essentially means they've grouped mk2s and mk3s

I spotted it on the Evans Halshaw website when browsing for a regular Focus. I was so surprised to see it I checked out the Ford UK website and it isn't listed, and you can not build it on the configurator.

It's probably originally a Ford management or press car being sold through the network, or was originally, given the "EU" reg prefix. One thing I noted was the km/h only speedo rather than the combined miles and km of the regular - presumably it's only built with the metric fascia?

I'm sure the guy I referred to has the latest generation Focus saloon.

I'll have to keep an eye out.

Car Supermarkets import quite a lot from Ireland, if the prices are right. Also import from far Eastern nations who also drive on the left.

There were some really strange BMWs kicking around in the supermarkets a few years ago - I recall they were 525i, but with a strange spec. - autos, every toy in the book, but cloth trim.

Saw a 16 plate MG SUV thing yesterday in brown, driven by an old man who hadn't a clue. He decided to slam his brakes on in the middle of Matlock as he'd spotted a parking space, car behind nearly rear ended him then blasting their horn. Old chap still just stopped in the road, no indicators then pulled into the parking spot without a care in the world. The car looked ok if you're into SUV type things but just looked weird with an MG badge slapped on the front. No idea what it was actually called but never seen one before and doubt I'll see another. I also reckon it'll be worth 50p now.

Import from Republic of Ireland. Extra evidence is the km/h speedo.

Ford doesn't build those for sale directly in the UK.

These are returning to this thread once in a while.

And there's many more. It's just for other markets. The European market favours practicality, like estates and hatchbacks.
Other markets (US, Asia) view these as too utilitarian and thus less premium.
Lexus doesn't offer an estate. Jaguar has stopped offering them.

On the other hand, small sedans are breaking through here. Think of the CLA and A3 sedan.

That's a shame. I like a 'posh' estate car. They used to be quite popular. Aside from Volvos, the Granada Chasseur estate was a wonderful limited edition Granada Ghia. Old Merc TE? They just look so classy. Even something like a Carllton or Omega estate was in my eyes quite desirable

I guess the SUV is the modern estate.

The Mega Monte Carlo:

Mega are an odd company, I first became aware of them as a teenager watching ice racing on Eurosport, which they were quite invested in with the Glace, which I seem to remember reading was Cosworth-powered, I could be wrong though:

Nowadays they seem to stick to rather more staid offerings, as part of Aixam:

We call them saloons here. The Megane looks nice.

I only recently became aware that the 63 family came in 4wd too. Safer and less fun I think is the verdict.

There's a lot more 4Matic products coming over to the UK now. Europe have had it for years, not sure if we're getting a 4Matic C63 though, I hope not biggrin

Engineered generally for more remote destinations - they have leaf sprung rear axles nerd

There was one on the Ford stand at Techno Classic Essen!

Ford Mondeo Estate. Nothing unusual there.

However, Ford will sell you one with the 1.0T 3-cyl EcoBoost. A big car for 125bhp.

Found one on Dutch autotrader:

But Ford UK will sell you one too:

Ok... 125bhp seems perfectly reasonable as an entry level engine offering?
The E-class, 5er and A6 are all offered with a 136bhp offering here.
For someone who's not particularly interested in going fast or going up a mountain fully loaded, it's plenty.

Not many mountain ranges in Holland, to be fair.
