There's a lot more 4Matic products coming over to the UK now. Europe have had it for years, not sure if we're getting a 4Matic C63 though, I hope not biggrin

Spotted one of these in Frome today, not sure why you'd buy one new over anything else but someone did! Lada Niva LWB Pickup, well longer than a normal Niva anyway.

Just another distasteful custom job by Mr Koenig.

His Ferrari creations are little better.

They also done a Fiesta Pick-Up 2000ish shape.
There were 2 versions, the Ford Bantam from South Africa:

And the Ford Courier from Brazil:

I have always had a thing for pickups and would love to own either.

Why would Ford HQ have 2 different versions of a pickup based on the same car? I'd have thought the number crunchers would have stepped in after whichever came first and had the same pickup for both markets.

They were an acquired taste but a 1,000 bhp Testarossa back in 1991 wasn't too shabby...

VAZ 2329 I think it's called. I've driven one. They're rare even in Russia although normal Nivas and Chevrolet Nivas are everywhere.

I went to the Pork museum in Stuttgart last week - for "research", for "work".

It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

Anyway, they've got a Transaxle exhibition going on, and I saw three prototypes which never made the light of day which I've never heard of before:

LWB 928

924 Targa

A rear-engined, 4wd 944!
The Targa was manufactured for the Dutch motorway police and the 928 was a birthday present for Ferry Porsche.

They've all only just gone in to build for the UK market. To be honest I've sold more 4Matic coupe than saloon or estate which surprised me

I think it might be another adaptation from the Brazilian market similar to the poorly reviewed Ecosport

They dropped all the entry level versions of the Fiesta as soon as the new Ka+ went on sale to create more of a gap in the range.

How do Ford not only get this model wrong, to start with (Fiat 500 nails it) but then makes it even worse. who, in their right mind, would buy that?
OK, I apprecaite that cars like the Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto and Suzuki Celerio aren't exactly Bertone designs but hell, that's unpleasant.
