"Boss, I've been thinking. You know how, whenever we build a Fiero, someone turns it into a kit car? Well what about if we just build a car which already looks like a kit car? We'll be rich!"
Was that built before they found out how to make the glass hatch on the Firebird ?

No, it's an F Body Firebird/Camaro underneath. A company called Knudsen Automotive built the Tojan over a period from 1985 to 1991. The glass hatch of the Firebird was already very much in production.

These are alleged to exist and be on sale today, presumably somewhere between the unicorns and the hens teeth,

While it's certainly not pretty, it does look like a lot of fun.

Whilst having a cheap V8 search on eBay, I just ran into a Cadillac Seville.

I was expecting to find an LHD car, but it's RHD UK registered.

Don't buy it. There's a reason that you've never heard of it. Other than the fact that you're presumably only fifteen smile

Now why would you presume that. Did they only last 10 years before being scrapped? wink

I'm not sure they even lasted that long

I'm strangely tempted. I would be sleeping in that expansive leather interior if I dared to bring one home. hehe

They were the equivalent of something like a Rover 825. Not a good car, poor reviews and they are prone to head issues which require the engine being taken out.

Yeah. The head issues put me off too. Getting it cheap enough that you could just scrap it would work.

I think they are quite good. I've never read a review of them that I recall.

I saw that one earlier too. I like it - it's a fairly tempting car, I think. 300bhp and ten months of MOT for £1250 has to be good value!

Quite like the look of that, would be fun to hire one abroad for a few days!

On the A1 just outside Edinburgh yesterday, a Toyota Venza. A new one on me - apparently an American assembled crossover thingy. The mass of chrome on the grille certainly caught the eye in the rear-view, rolleyes .

That reminds me of a Mazda CX-9.
