Saw one at the supermarket.
Someone claims 5.4sec to 60, another claims 14sec......
I sometimes see a taxi one of these around the North Circular
Might be the same one!

These gopping things:

http://www.lumma-design.co.uk/lumma-design-clr-sr-...

I'd never heard of them, then saw two of them recently in quick succession, which makes me want to move out of the area to avoid seeing them again. One of them was abandoned on the 'no parking' chevrons on the end of the car parking bay at our local Tesco.

You're out by about 400-odd miles. Maybe there's been a breach in the space-time continuum.

I've just rememberd one I saw in the summer.

I parked up to take the dog for a walk and there was an old boy with a 'Micro Car' in the carpark. Had to google them.

I think the Dutch can drive them on a bike licence in their bicycle/scooter lanes.

Does France still allow voitures sans permis?
yes they are all over the place

Exactly.. except no one really knows what's going on over at BYD.. how on earth do you jump from 4.9 secs to 60 to 14.9 secs... or 941kg to 2241 kg for that matter yikes

The numbers may have gone through the same computer that churns out the Chinese GDP figures.

I saw one on the A1 not far from Leeds last week, first one I've seen or heard of, the pictures really don't do justice to how bad it looked, each to their own though.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the LUMMA badging, I would just have marked it up (or down) as just another RR variation.

Isn't it just a RR with bodykit?

Maybe it was a different type but the one I saw was really, really wide, noticeable from quite a distance that it was a chavved up model.

I think it's just a demonstration that full electric cars are still a long, long way from being a mass market product.

Plus it looks like some sort of 1990s Dodge/Chrysler thing.

It's probably been in here before and 116 pages is a lot to check, but I saw one of these at the weekend:

A very bland looking light metallic blue 2006 VW Passat saloon 3.2 litre V6 FSi

Just googled it and 0-62mph stated at 6.9 seconds in Auto Express, so good sleeper. They can't have sold many of them!

I don't agree, just because this particular thing has comedy pricing doesn't mean they're a long way off being a mass market product. Probably 75% of the population could use a Leaf their main car as they rarely stray over anything like 100 miles in a single journey. Whether they want an electric car is another thing altogether smile
