I didn't know you could get MX5 kit cars until I saw a Healy Enigma in a car park so I did a search and being totally honest, if I was utterly minted I'd spend 60k on this Italia 3 swb

Fiat 500 Abarth Edizione Maserati.

Note Maserati style wheels.
Yeah, similar in concept to those Ferrari tributo 500's. Has the same donk I think and has 'luxury' type exterior and interior colours and I think a fancy clock on the dashboard.

Like Frankenstein's monster you mean?
Eye of newt, toe of dog etc.
In this case a lot of Renault 9 with some Volvo 740. 4x4 chassis?

In a similar vein I've just bought one of these after looking for an Abarth ... Fiat Riva

I really like the look of that, but not sure if it would look so good outside a chip shop in Brixton.

Yes

I thought it had a look of 740 too. Are the wheels not off a later model 940?
Talbot Alpine/Solara/Horizon door handles.

Thirded on the Volvo 740-ness, especially the wheels and the doors.

It's a Moskvich. Which explains the Talbot-esque doors / handles.

Every day's a learning day. Looked this up. Last models produced when Moskvich went bust in 2002.
Looks almost handsome from other angles. Interior is quite good too.
In an '80s-tastic way smile

I did the same. The dashboard reminds me of a bad Jaguar.

They even did a SWB 2 door version, a bit like those weird American coupes from the 80s
