Uganda's answer to Alfa Romeo?

Yikes, looks to me like something out of Pixar's "Cars". I also love the positive camber on the front wheels.

At least from that angle you don't have to see the gopping front.

Its a Renault badged as a Samsung for the S. Korean market.
I worked with RSM when it 1st came back to life after the Asian Financial crisis when Samsung was told by the government that they must sell off their new Car company venture. Renault stepped in and bought them for a song. Then they were building rebadged and localised Nissan Maximas. For a time they were quite succesfull but could not really compete with the rising might of Hyundai/Kia. Now they are fully part of the Renault Nissan Alliance and make a mixture of localised Renault and Nissan models for export and modified for local market. The Renault Koleos and Latitude models were made there.

And for some reason puts me in mind of a Rover 75 Estate (from the rear anyway... might be the colour).

Yep, they were sat on the docks for years, buying a new lada meant you quite likely got a 3 year old one that hadn't been registered and had been sat in the lovely sea air. I knew someone who bought one new, rotted away within them having it 2 years.

I lived there for three years and never knew that. It explains all the Ladas I used to see.
