I did know about it. It's hideous! John Lennon had one, but he never did have any taste...

Can someone photoshop that and get rid of the back doors. It looks like it might be the four door version of a 2 door coupe.

It's not THAT far off a '60s Quattroporte...

So near, yet so far away!

The Subaru Traviq! Saw one and thought someone stuck Subaru badges on their zafira.
I think that's is because it is a Zafira with Subaru badges on, for the Japanese market

Today I saw something that suprised me, a Maserati SUV.

It wasn't a pretty car, sad to see an ugly Maserati more that the thought that Maserati has joined the big SUV market, the picture, believe it or not does it justice.

Isn't that Skoda R200 just a rendering in an Autocar fashion?

They did make these though

i seem to recall that the subaru impreza took a while to gain any interest from car enthusiasts so was off the radar and id certainly not heard of it until the mags picked up on it. they would have us believe these cars were mainly owned by farmers but would they have really had 2 litre turbo bonnet scooped bewinged saloons or wagons down on the farm?

Yep, Skoda nearly had it nailed styling wise, the side/back profile has a hint of Alfa Junior GT sadly spoilt with a Volvo P4 front endlaugh

That looks like something out of a 70s Sci-Fi film.

I wonder if 4 wheels at the front does to acceleration and cornering.

I think the thread is mainly about production cars that we've never seen or heard of.

Having said that I love a good concept car. MG EX-E anyone?

Subarus were popular in the dales in the 80s long before the Impreza and before Colin McRae, Gran Turismo etc made them popular
WRX only came out a few years into the Impreza production too
