That blog doesnt ring true - the car was on ebay a couple of years ago as a restoration project and sold for about 10-20k if I remember correctly

Quite a few companies use Merc designs, I posted the Ssyangyong Chairman a few pages ago, which iirc is an AWD 5l V8 S Class.

It was the older one I posted, as there was one up on Trademe and I was a little bit tempted.
