Aixam cars i'd never heard of til a minute or two ago.
I miss the old times when i wasn't aware of these stboxes.
A rather rotund old guy pootles round Filton / Horfield (Bristol) in one of these. Genuinely sounds like a lawnmower, and the exhaust is about 1cm in diameter. I miss the old times when i wasn't aware of these stboxes.

I'd love to have one of those, but when they do come up for sale they want insane money for them, no surprising given the tiny dribble of them they made and how fussy VW were about who them sold / gave them to. Still compared to what some people want for far more mainstream RS Fords they're a bloody bargain!

They're classed as quadricycles, so 16 year olds can drive them on a moped licence (show me a 16 year old who would want to have anything to do with one of these ). 400 or 500cc two cylinder diesel, limited to about 30. Basically a G Wiz with an engine instead the EV part.I miss the old times when i wasn't aware of these stboxes.

Belt drive tranny:
You can drive them on a motorbike licence - modern (!) version of the Robin Reliant or I guess more precisely, the Robin Kitten which is a good car for some for the topic of conversation.

Based on the original Micra, and not on the hot Micras like the Figaro.
Yup, 1 litre auto, where as the Figaro is 1 litre turbo auto. Had loads of Figaro's pass through my hands, only 1 Pao though. Pretty cool but so slooooooow. By all accounts the hot ticket in Japan is to get a 1.5 litre engine from a Sunny/Almera and drop it in with the manual gearbox. Oh and they really don't like being thrown down country lanes, very soft suspension Evoluzione said:
hat's that thing Clarkson drove through an office block? Two wheels at the front, one at the back - they still make those....
