Both in production when I worked for Ford and Vauxhall, never ever saw either of them, never sold any of them.
Focus ST170 Estate
Vauxhall Meriva VXR
Also, a friend many years ago had a 4dr P1 Subaru, apparently they built 2.
I'd have an ST170 saloon if they ever made them...Focus ST170 Estate

Then again I want to take a Focus saloon ghia (has to be a ghia, for the full effect) and do a RWD conversion on it, keeping it as standard looking on the outside as possible.

I saw tons of those in Dublin when I was working over there last year. Another car I saw several of there that I'd not heard of before was the Nissan Tiida:
Both of them fairly unattractive bland lumps of metal IMHO.
Ah the Tiida, or as it commonly called out here in the Middle East - The Tiida-gini! The 1.8 is the fastest rental in the East Both of them fairly unattractive bland lumps of metal IMHO.

we sell lots of these types up here, not as many as we do subarus, however I did notice massive numbers of Suzuki sx4/sedici type things in Northumbria last year whilst on holiday.
Within its own limits it's a cracking little car. Honest and simple with quite a clever part time/lockable 4wd underpinning (optional on the SX4s).zedx19 said:
Saw one of these on the road the other day, not entirely sure of its purpose??
Suzuki Swift 4x4
Local suzuki dealers here couldn't get enough of them last autumn/winter; not bad for a car that isn't built to order.Suzuki Swift 4x4
Ideal for people who live out in the sticks and must get around in the winter but don't want/need a "proper" 4x4.
I would imagine with winter tyres on it'd cope with any conditions we see in the UK.
