As a consumer and enthusiast, I feel that modern Lancia has no value as a brand. They could save a lot of many by culling it and selling any remaining assets. Unless there is a market in which they have good sales that has escaped me?

I had no idea Lancia were in on the Citroen/Peugeot/Fiat MPVs, and seeing those, I'm not sure they should have bothered hehe .

I quite like the Zeta - it looks the best out of the Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen efforts!

The Lancia brand is completely misused

They should be the sporty brand between Fiat and Alfa

Something I saw recently - a Toyota Aristo; it's what the first incarnation of the Lexus GS300 was called in Japan. There's only about half-a-dozen in the country.

A friend used to have an Altezza; rebadged IS200.

I'd never heard of that either until I was searching Autotrader out of curiosity for 'Aristo', and the name popped up:

'drives prefect', apparently...

They did the aristo with the Supra twin turbo engine, and they did the Altezza with a 2.0 turbo yamaha beams engine.

Nope. The original vision of them taking on Jaguar and Merc while Alfa chase BMW should have been stuck with. Keep Lancia as a more mature, more luxurious and mor comfortable marque to Alfa's overt sportiness. Previous management squandered the chance. Marchionne is too tied up getting Alfa back on its feet but, you never know, that new Giorgio platform could lead to more Lancias one day.

I saw one of those the other week in northern France. Assuming it's the same model, I assume you threw up a bit into your mouth at the sight of a re-badged Dodge Journey?

Is it one of those based on a Beetle supposed to look like a 911 jobs?

From the A posts back, it looks OK - besr in mind I like Talbot Tagoras so my perception of what is good is very much open to question.
