Ssangyongg Korando Sports, followed a '15 plate one of these this morning:
I prefer that to the Navara style things you usually see. Do these things still have Mercrdes-Benz engines?
literally 30 seconds in Photoshop
"Styled by legendary car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, Korando is a true blend of Italian form and Korean function. The front end styling features an elegant grille and modern projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights to give a sharp contemporary look."
He must have been drunk, high and having off with 2 bunga bunga girls all at the same time while designing that.

I can’t help but feel that Europe is also culpable in the mess of some countries' car design. This “beauty,” was:
1 Designed by Ken Greenley and
2 “received the Auto Design Award from the Birmingham Auto Show.”
It’s not a looker:
He also designed the Ssangyong Rhodius but I haven’t included a picture as we all know what it is and to needlessly include it might put some off their lunch.
Quite often you find these in Asia where the owners have replaced the badges with Mercedes ones...1 Designed by Ken Greenley and
2 “received the Auto Design Award from the Birmingham Auto Show.”

Some from my recent trip to mexico.
VW Classico (basically a facelift bora)
VW Gol (No I didn't miss the F, looked like a polo with a slightly different body shape)
VW Pointer (again, reminded me of a polo)
Gol and Pointer are the same car, the Pointer is the 2nd-Gen Gol for the Mexican market.VW Classico (basically a facelift bora)
VW Gol (No I didn't miss the F, looked like a polo with a slightly different body shape)
VW Pointer (again, reminded me of a polo)
All Generations of Gol were made in Argentina and Brazil. Why the name change for the 2nd-Gen one in Mexico, who knows.
1st Gen Gol
1st Gen Gol wagon (also known as Fox)
2nd Gen Gol/Pointer

The Gol is still available today. To me it looked newer than the pointer. Look up 2015 VW Gol Mexico.
Indeed it is, all I said wwas the 2nd-Gen Gol was called the Pointer.Never said there wasn't a Gol that came after.
This is the current one (3rd-Gen facelift)
Anyway, South American VWs lead us nicely on to the Saveiro pick-up.
