Happened to me too in Romford. I thought it was a bit excessive for a little country lane drive home the day before.

Yeah - sorry about this chaps, it's my fault, apologies.

Basically, every time I spend an entire day valeting my car - thorough wash, clay bar, polish, two coats of wax - you know, 8 odd hours of work - the following night, we get cascades of dirty, sandy rain...

This has happened to me about 3 times in the last 3 years now! Honestly, I would swear it's my luck and my fault - every SINGLE time I've given my car a day's polishing, I wake up the following day to this st! Arrrggghhhh!1!!!111!!

I've had this too.

Cleaned my car on Saturday. It rained on Sunday night I think it was and left sandy blobs all over my car.

Oh well,at least all it will need now is a quick wash.I woke up to find mine covered in it this morning so i gave it a wash around dinner time an a couple of hours later it pissed it down and covered it in sand again!!

Just think ourselves lucky we all haven't had to deal with the giant hailstones which have wrecked several thousand cars in the midlands today.

I wondered why my car looked as though it had been abandoned at a Dubai airport!

Yup, my car's black too. It looks clean for about five minutes after it's washed then shows everything. Today was just worse than usual.

In a past life, I flew paragliders for ooh, nearly fifteen years. The art of it would be catching rides on thermals to cloudbase, just like soaring birds. On occasion, I would get into rising air at more than 10 metres per second, roughly 20 mph straight up.

Weather is powerful. Really poweful. The energy in a cumulonimbus is immense.

There was a five or six car queue at the local petrol station car wash all day long.

Went outside with my new pressure washer and it made short work of shifting the dust with a bit of snowfoam first to soften it. Did mine and my OH's car and still had time for a top down drive to make the most of the warm evening. smile
