When do you expect it to arrive?
We need a pic of the car on the back of a flatbed in the rain.

I decided I needed an XR2 last summer - it's a money pit but I love it!

Original ETA was Monday or Tuesday, but that was with it collected tomorrow. I'll be calling them tomorrow to find out.

Providing all MI16s were registered as MI16s, then it should be pretty accurate. Problems arise where cars are not registered properly.

Great work, OP - looking forward to reading about the aftermath!

Shame the shipping company doesn't have a live GPS web tracking function... smile

Love these OP. Fantastic thread.
I grew up with these while my Dad worked for Peugeot. He had numerous MI16's and 4*4MI16's as company cars as well. They were all ace. I recall stories Dad told of the MI16 press launch up in Scotland. I think there were 50ish red MI16's hooning round the countryside for a few days. I think I remember they all came upon a caravan, dawdling and the 2nd MI16 in line tried to overtake and just as he pulled alongside the first MI16, he decided to go to. They had a pretty nasty crash. One either side of the road, in each ditch. There were 50 identical red sporty cars all stopped at the side of the road. Think they had to get rid of everyone not involved before plod turned up and wondered if they were racing.
I remember seeing the car used in the fire advert posted earlier in the thread in the workshop at one point. Does anyone remember the lion used in the adverts? Sad fact - it was called Benson and I think I may still have a huge stuffed toy one somewhere in Dad's loft, also called Benson. Pretty sure it was from the 405 launch. Happy days.....

£10 to anybody who can find it. I don't have a clue where it is, and ETA is still Monday or Tuesday.

I heard it was the reason for the M6 Toll closure.

Parts of a mysterious French car laying all over the road.....

There was a sitcom mooted once called "Last Quango in Harris", but I don't think it ever got anywhere. Great name though.
